Raise the Roof Concert was a big success for the Historical Society.
The concert was to raise money to replace the 22 year old roof on the Watts House Pioneer Museum.
A special thanks to all those who volunteered their time to help me plan and
participate in it.
Bart Hafeman was wonderful (as usual). Food was yummy and was provided by H&H Sweets and Sloppy Dogs. The Altzheimers Assoc sold cookies for humans and pets.
The beer garden was hosted by the St. Helens Elks, but accompanying them were Ye Ole' Grog, who served a wonderful "Adult Shaved Ice", and NW Distillery who's samples were really good.
The plans for the July 28, 2013 concert in Heritage Park are coming together nicely
We have secured, as mentioned, Bart Hafeman and his group to play for the evening...YEA Bart!!
The St. Helens Elks are all ready to go with the beer/wine garden.
We have a commitment from Ye Ole' Grog and NW Distillery to have tasting, by the glass and bottle sales. All three will be located within a fenced area per OLCC rules.
The fenced in area will be towards the back of the concert area to allow families to fully enjoy the up front area.
